    • Responsible for entities across EMEA and APAC; posted journals; prepared monthly management accounts and VAT returns; monthly balance sheet reconciliations; monthly P&L analytics; liaised with auditors.
    • Reviewed junior member’s journal postings and monthly balance sheet reconciliations and provided SAP S/4 training to new team members.
  • Process Efficiency Taskforce Member: Pharmaceutical firm.
    • Reduced invoice backlog and improved supplier experience.
    • Prepared weekly analysis communications to leadership teams, site leads, and finance leads.

Skills:

  • Accounting, finance leadership, US GAAAP and IFRS, statutory accounting, business partnering, inventory finance.
  • Member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants with top-tier training; over 15 years’ experience in senior finance roles across NASDAQ-listed pharmaceuticals and tech multinationals
  • Highly analytical with multinational budget, forecast and transfer pricing experience.

  • Director of Accounting: Global biopharmaceutical firm
    • Led IFRS/US GAAP reporting and global inventory accounting teams; managed stakeholder relationships, oversaw month-end and quarter-end reporting and review and supported on technical accounting issues
  • Director of Accounting: Global technology firm
    • In charge of multiple EMEA and APAC entities with responsibilities for payroll and sales commissions; oversaw month-end close process and statutory accounting—local reporting and audit program.
