Claire is a director in Grant Thornton's advisory practice in Dublin. With 17 years of experience serving clients in the banking & securities sector, she advises both global and national firms on issues related to risk management, regulatory remediation and strategy development.
Her main area of focus for the past 10 years has been in providing conduct risk solutions, whether in response to a specific regulatory or legal requirement or as a preventative measure to proactively strengthen risk management capabilities.

- International Private Bank – Engagement Lead providing advice to the client’s Internal Audit department on how to include Culture reviews within their audit process
- International Investment Bank – Engagement Lead managing a Conduct Risk team hired to design and implement a global regulatory reporting process for a large investment bank in response to a high-profile legal requirement applicable to the bank globally
- International Private Bank - Risk SME providing guidance on Conduct Risks associated with offering certain products and how to incorporate controls to manage and monitor them effectively
- International Investment Bank – Engagement Lead on a project to build a global escalation process for Conduct issues to be reported to a new Conduct Risk Steering Committee as part of a mandatory regulatory requirement following a breach
